Systems EngineerWe are currently seeking a Sr.
Systems Engineer for our Fall River, MA location.
This position will be responsible for Cost Account Management of Engineering efforts in the design and development of L3Harris - KEO Medium Unmanned Undersea Vehicle (MUUV).
Coordinate design tasks and deliverables to support the DoD Design Review process.
Working with the team, this individual will perform CAM duties, maintain design budgets (electrical and mechanical), track deliverable development and assist in tracing requirements with the PE and SYS Eng as directed by management.
Essential Functions:
Performs CAM duties for MUUV Engineering Team.
Works with PE to generate EVMS status and reports.
Coordinates and monitors task status of Engineering Team members.
Identifies issues with staffing or progress to PE and PM.
Assists in the development and maintenance of System Level budgets - power, weight, error.
Assists in the preparation for DoD Design reviews.
Identifying and coordinating the development and submission of required deliverables for each review.
Works closely with the PE, Chief System Engineer, and PM on all design reviews topics.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related degree & minimum 6 years prior relevant experienceStrong CAM/Lead ExperienceDemonstrated experience with requirements management/traceabilityDemonstrated experience in managing system budgets (power, weight, etc.
)Experience in writing development plans and technical proposalsExperience in preparing for, and participating in, DoD Design ReviewsPreferred Additional Skills:
Clearance - existing or ability to get GENSER SecretOther Skills:
Defense Industry experience (i.
e.
requirements-based testing), CAMEO, MBSEExperience with FAR/DFAR contractsExperience with COBRA EVMS SW packageExperience with Unmanned Undersea Vehicles, or unmanned vehicles in generalPreferred SkillsMaster's degree in EngineeringDemonstrated experience leading DoD Design ReviewsExperience interfacing with other non-reporting individual contributing engineersPersonality Traits:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
