Working alongside the Director of Marketing & Development, this role will assist with special events, fundraising, social media, writing and editing, and other communications activities.
This vital role will collaborate with senior leadership and all programs and departments to help maintain brand voice, align agency messages, and further our strategic goals.
Duties and Responsibilities Aid the Director of Marketing & Development in building brand/company awareness Support communication and marketing efforts through writing, editing, and designing materials for a range of audiences and contexts Manage company blog, internal newsletter, social updates, and editorial calendar that aligns with strategic goals Assist in the growth of social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Google, TikTok, Facebook, and others Assist in the creation and monitoring of advertising campaigns Research and foster engagement with social media contacts and influencers Monitor consumer and stakeholder communications through social media Monitor social media metrics using analytic tools and evaluate ways to enhance activity and engagement Assist with special events, including taking a primary role in the Festival of Trees Manage specific fundraising tasks, including tracking gifts and acknowledging sponsors and donations through mail, email, social media, and other methods Required Skills and Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated writing ability with a portfolio of personal or business writing, copywriting, and/or content production samples Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study OR equivalent demonstrated experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel) Flexible schedule, including occasional evening or weekend event coverage as needed Possession of a valid driver's license, a vehicle with up-to-date registration, and an agreement to use one's personal vehicle for business purposes Additional Desired Skills Experience with social management platforms (similar to SocialBee, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HubSpot, eTapestry, Salesforce, ClickUp) Knowledge of Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator Experience with WordPress History of CO-OP CO-OP was established in 1972 to provide community services to adults with intellectual disabilities in the greater Taunton area.
